Sick of the offseason? Yeah, we are too. The draft is less than a month away and it can’t get here soon enough. Until then, pull out your calendar and circle the dates for your favorite team. OTA’s will be here in no time. Keep Reading…

We love the NFL here at Laces Out, but even we can’t get everything. Why don’t you sit back, kick your feet up and take a peek at what the World Wide Web has to offer on this day.

Wondering just what the hell is going on in this GIF? Since we aren’t regular viewers of ABC’s new series Splash, so were we. This here is Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh performing a dive. Thatta boy.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo got paid with a capital P on Friday, earning a six-year contract extension worth $108 million.

Take a look at him, getting a little help signing the deal  from his newborn son Hawkins Romo and wife Candice Crawford.

Although Romo has made three Pro Bowl appearances since becoming the starting QB in 2006, he hasn’t had much, err any, postseason success. Now he’s the highest paid QB in franchise history and will receive more guaranteed money than Super Bowl winning quarterback Joe Flacco.

After the deal was announced, social media was on fire and everyone, including Donovan McNabb, had a punchline for the new extension.

Former Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb took a crack at Romo. This tweet is actually kinda funny. McNabb mentions Romo only has one postseason win — can someone remind me who that win was against? Oh, that’s right it was McNabb and the Eagles.

Hey, this guy had a good one … NOT!

This gentleman doesn’t seem too happy with the new deal.

This is kinda true, but still …

Did the man commit a robbery?

The scrutiny is fair, but Romo seems to have lived up to his end of the bargain.

Statistically, he’s coming off one of his best seasons in his career, but it’s hard for NFL fans, especially Cowboys fans, to forget some of the pain he has caused the franchise.

With all that said, we have a feeling Romo could care less right now. And if there’s anyone out there who has anything else to say, you might have to deal with this guy:

Connor Barwin may have signed a six-year deal with the Eagles last month, but he isn’t forgetting where he began his NFL career.

Barwin, who has been known for his eccentric ways, took out a full-page ad in the Houston Press thanking just about everyone in the city. We’re not kidding.

It’s evident that Barwin didn’t want to leave anyone off the long list as it includes Jags QB Blaine Gabbert (because of all the sacks he has on him), Texans coaches, front office personnel, doctors, Bun B, Bombay Pizza, gyms, St. Arnolds Beer and even The Art Car Parade.

What a classy gesture. Except the Blaine Gabbert part. That’s just rude.

The Atlanta Falcons reeled in a Pro Bowl defensive end on Wednesday night by signing Osi Umenyiora to a two-year deal worth $8.5 million, FOX Sports NFL insider Jay Glazer learned. Here’s the full story. What I bet you didn’t know is that Umenyiora is a playmaker on the field, but an even bigger superstar away from it. Don’t believe us? Here are some facts you probably didn’t know about the newest Atlanta Falcon. Keep Reading…

Seems like the Cowboys wide receiver is always good for a tweet. This time he took offense to ESPN’s Skip Bayless after the TV talent took a shot at him.

ESPN’s lambasted Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant on Twitter of all places. Hard to believe, right?

Bryant, who in an interview with ESPNDallas.com on Tuesday said that he was eyeing 2,000 yards, didn’t let Bayless get away with his comments on Wednesday.

Bryant saw the tweet and reacted immediately.

Bryant went on and retweeted one of his followers, who didn’t necessarily agree with Bayless’ assessment.

Then, the Cowboys wide receiver offered a clarification for his comments during the interview with ESPNDallas.com.

We hope, and would like to predict, that there will be more to come.

The first indication that the Chiefs are looking to trade the No. 1 overall pick in next month’s NFL Draft has surfaced. On Wednesday, a report from NFL.com may confirm that the team is laying the foundation to get out of the premier picking position.

The report reeks of desperation from Kansas City as they just acquired Alex Smith not too long ago. Do the Chiefs really need a quarterback after they tabbed Smith as the franchise QB? Probably not. And it’s likely they are plotting to move down as there isn’t a consensus No. 1 overall pick this year.

Since Smith’s pro day there has been quite a buzz about the quarterback and some teams have been notably linked to him as a possible destination. With the Jaguars (No. 2 overall), Raiders (No. 3 overall) and Eagles (No. 4 overall) all selecting right behind the Chiefs, a move to No. 1 overall might not be as costly as once expected.

Is Geno Smith worthy of a No. 1 pick? Take a look at some of his highlights and then cast your vote below.
