Lupe Fiasco Didn’t Want To Appear On “Touch The Sky”

Lupe Fiasco has always been one of the more eccentric rappers of this generation and has been known to say somethings that make you want to kick yourself. Regardless of the occasional “face-palm” worthy comments though, you can’t deny the guy has offered up some timeless music and even a classic album in his sophomore effort “The Cool”. So what are you going to do? As a fan you have to take the musical gifts and the idiosyncrasies and this little nugget of a comment is no different. Only Lupe knows what Lupe is thinking about but given the dude’s track record a statement like “I didn’t want to do that song with Kanye West” is believable. Granted it is not outside of the norm for an artist to be reluctant to record a certain type of song and then ironically that song being the one to put him on the map.
